General Terms & Conditions

 

The Introductory Offer (5 classes for $55) is only available to brand new clients. You can only purchase the introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking. Clients found to be using the Introductory Offer more than once will see their Introductory Offer cancelled without refund.

A minimum of two people is required for a class to proceed. You will be contacted via text 2 hours prior to the start of class should it need to be cancelled and your session returned.

​

Our 6-hour cancellation policy is in place so all Bay Studio members have a chance to attend classes. You can cancel a class the same way you booked in.

 

We do not accept cancellations via email, phone or social media messages.

​

  • Cancellations made more than 6 hours before class will get the session back

  • Late cancellations made less than 6 hours before class will forfeit the session on per class services, unlimited services will be charged $15 to your account

  • No-shows and absences will forfeit the session per class services, unlimited services will be charged $20 to your account

  • Members on 2 class and 3 class memberships, as well as Class Packs, and will lose their session, and will be able to rebook additional session if exceeding their quota/week.

 

Payment must be made prior to booking. To book into a class you must either have pre-purchased sessions in your account or pay at the time of booking in the studio.

Arriving once the class has already commenced is considered late. If you’re late you forfeit the session and are considered a No Show. Empty reformers, or Mats at the start of class will be given to our waitlisted or walk-ins clients.

Owners and/or teachers reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; and owners and/or teachers reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance.

If a class you want is full, you can sign up for the waitlist. Should a place become available you will receive either an email or text to let you know you got into class. If you do not respond to the text/email we assume that you’re coming and the system will automatically add you in. Our cancellation policy is the same for waitlisted classes. Remove yourself from a waitlist class if you know you cannot attend so the next person on the list moves up.

Class Packs are valid for 6 months from purchase date. Sessions are non-refundable, are not transferable and can be extended if you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. 

​

Sessions are not transferrable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions.

​

Gift cards can be used for classes and product at Bay Studio. They are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. Bay Studio does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on Gift Cards for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final and in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

GST is currently included in the pricing of all our services.

Membership terms and conditions

Includes:

  • 2 Classes / Week Membership

  • 3 Classes / Week Membership

  • Unlimited / Week Membership

 

Your membership will commence on the date of purchase. All Memberships operate on a 7-day autopay schedule from the credit card/bank details stored in Wellness Living (a secure system). Payment will continue unless notified (see Termination Policy below).

Memberships will continue with scheduled autopays unless Bay Studio is notified of a termination request in writing (see Termination Policy below).

​

Memberships may be subject to price increase, but will be communicated in writing 4 weeks prior to any change.

Unlimited membership will incur a $20 No Show fee for all classes they’re marked absent for and a $15 Late Cancel fee for all classes cancelled within 6 hours of class. 

​

2 and 3 class memberships can purchase additional sessions at $15 per class. This is the responsibility of the member to arrange prior to taking class via purchasing individual sessions. Additional sessions will be valid for 7 days from purchase. If during the weekly cycle, an extra session is taken and shows as unpaid or owing $15 will automatically be charged to the payment method on file per session booked.

Failed payment of membership: If your direct debit is unsuccessful, our merchant processor will automatically attempt payment again, any additional attempts to take payment will incur a $4.40 fee that is not from Bay Studio and is nonrefundable. If you have an outstanding amount owing on your account, you will be unable to book in for classes.

 

 

Membership holds

​

Any membership suspensions or cancellations must be sent in writing to hello@baystudio.com.au with a minimum of 7 days notice to allow sufficient time before your direct debit is scheduled.  Our minimum hold is 2 weeks and maximum hold period is 8 weeks.

​

Don’t forget to cancel your booked classes to avoid no-show/absence fees. Your bookings are your responsibility.

​

 

Membership cancellation

​

All memberships can be cancelled after the 12-week minimum membership period. 

Cancellations must be sent in writing to hello@baystudio.com.au with a minimum 2 weeks’ notice.

In the case of long term or permanent injury or illness that prevents the use of our services, immediate membership termination will be permitted. Termination will take effect from the date we receive written confirmation from a medical doctor.

​

Bay Studio may terminate a membership without notice for inappropriate, offensive or illegal behaviour, as determined by us, which occurs on our premises or is directed at our staff or other members.

 

 

Upgrade/Downgrade

​

You can change your membership level at anytime. Email hello@baystudio.com.au 7 days in advance to change your membership.

 

 

Refund Policy

​

Refunds will only be given in line with Queensland Consumer Affairs regulations. Refunds for any circumstance unforeseen by or external to the business will incur a processing fee of $5 per transaction being refunded.

Refunds are processed directly to your nominated financial institution minus the processing fee/s.

Class packs or Gift Cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Activation dates can only be extended for medical reasons.

Sessions are unable to be transferred to another person.

​

If a purchased item is faulty or damaged, at no fault to the customer, a full refund via bank deposit or replacement at the cost of the business will be offered.

​

No exchange or return on grippy socks.
